Tuesday night my book club, the Lit Chicks, took me to Blue Martini at City North for Happy Hour drinks and food. Marilyn brought a most delicious cake (chocolate, of course) and the gals gave me a beautiful silver frame with the word "Friends" on it. Around 8, we drove to Marilyn's house where I led the discussion of "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" which everyone said they thoroughly enjoyed reading.
Wednesday night Arne and I were invited to join Bob and Mary Colgan, along with Dan and Judy Spears, for dinner at Club Terravita. Arne used to play golf with Bob and Dan.
Thursday night we took dear friend, Trudy Gray, to dinner at Rancho Mañana. It was such a beautiful evening as we were able to sit outside. Sure didn't seem like June 11th in the desert!
Friday I went to lunch with 8 gals after golf. Arne went to lunch with a friend from the Fitness Center. In the evening, we went to dinner with Wayne and Marge Cook.
